  Payment Terms for UK Customers:
   
 

For Bona fide Educational and Library customers, and existing Account holders, invoices will be raised on despatch of goods

For Private Individuals or Commercial Establishments prepayment is required by cheque, debit card, or credit card (the latter incurs a 3% surcharge). ProForma Invoices can be provided on request.

   
  Payment Terms for Overseas Customers:
   
 

ProForma Invoices will automatically be issued on receipt of orders

Customers in EU member states need to quote their VAT number at the time of ordering, otherwise orders will be liable for VAT at the prevailing UK rate

Prepayment is required for all orders from Overseas customers, in Pounds Sterling, and can be made by any of the following methods, in order of preference:

Debit Card (ie Switch, Delta etc) - no surcharge

Credit Card (ie MasterCard, Access etc) - please state that this will be your method of payment at the time of ordering, as it will incur a 3% surcharge on your total order value

Sterling Cheque drawn on a UK Bank

  UK Carriage Charges:
   
 

When orders have been collated and are ready for despatch, we would normally use the standard 72 hour service, however, if a guaranteed next day service is required, it is available at an extra charge as follows:

Guaranteed 24 Hour delivery

from £15 + VAT (depending on size of order)

   
  Subscription carriage charges vary from publisher to publisher and also depend on frequency of updates. Charges range from £10 to £40, and will be quoted on request.
   
  Overseas Carriage Charges:
   
 
If using UK shipping agents, standard UK carriage charges as shown above will apply
Carriage to overseas addresses will be quoted for the most economic method available to your country, and for your order. This charge will include insurance, tracking, and signature on delivery
If you prefer to make your own arrangements for carriage, please advise at the time of ordering

All prices quoted are in UK Pounds Sterling and exclude carriage and VAT unless otherwise specified
VAT will be added to all UK invoices at the prevailing rate on date of Invoicing
Prices may be subject to change by the publisher without prior notice
   
  Versions:
   
  If no version is specified on your order the latest standalone Windows version will be supplied
   
  Payment Terms:
   
  Strictly 7 days nett from Invoice date. Prepayment will be required from all non-account holders, and may also be required by all customers if goods are sourced outside our normal supply channels. Overdue accounts will be subject to a monthly interest charge of 2.5%
   
  Delivery:
   
 

Online access is usually available within 24 hours, depending on Licensing arrangements

Any delivery date quoted for CDs, DVDs, Books, etc is our best estimate and not a binding contract

   
  Faulty Goods & Goods Damaged in Transit:
   
  Customers must refuse to accept parcels clearly and visibly damaged in transit. Customers must inspect delivered goods and advise us in writing, within three (3) working days of receipt, of faulty or damaged goods
   
  Warranty:
   
  Cambridge Information Ltd warrants that all CD-ROM discs are free from physical defects at the time of delivery and if any such goods are found to be faulty within 14 days of receipt they will be replaced free of charge
   
  Return of Goods:
   
  Authorisation for the return of goods must be obtained from Cambridge Information Ltd before despatch. Goods must be returned in MINT condition, and be sent in rigid packaging by Registered Post. Goods returned in padded bags or similar wrapping will not be accepted, or may be subject to refurbishment charge.
   
  Order Cancellations and/or Amendments:
   
  No cancellation will be accepted by Cambridge Information Ltd where goods have been specially ordered to meet a non standard requirement of the customer or if goods have been shipped to the customer on or before the cancellation date
